Merging
The Merge command was covered previously, but the example shown in Figure 5 is slightly different.
The first two lines of the code are setting up the environment, so that shorter names can be used in the actual operational parameters. The third line of code creates a list variable, representing the names of the files to be merged. The fourth line is the actual merge operation, which will merge the members of the list together and create a new file, which will be named Clark_Jefferson.. The final line is the result of the operation.
